are my images too big?

They're not too big to me, but I have a nice speedy Internet connection, so I don't know how they might be for dial-uppers.

One thing you could do, if the large images really are bothering people and you don't want to do two sets of images, would be to use an LJ-Cut.

Personally, I think you're pictures are fine without them, but it would certainly be an option.

I've not yet seen any of your posts on my friends page (as we've just added each other) so have come to your own journal to read/look at your own entries. I have broadband so there's no problem with them loading, but they might stretch my friends page a bit... don't know for sure though. They're nowhere near as wide as some people's that make me have to scroll horizontally so far that I can't get the whole pic in view (I've a small monitor).

They are lovely photos from what I've so far seen, anyway.

Whenever I posted pics to mine, they're usually between 500px & 600px wide.

i used to make mine 500 across, but once i started uploading to devART, people complained they were too small at that size. so now this is the large format popular at devART, but maybe not so popular at LJ :/
