Okay, I give up (for the moment at least).

This "game" is frustrating the crap out of me.

If not being able to figure it out means you're smart (which I'm not sure I buy), then I must be a frikkin' genius, because I just don't get it at all.

I'm going to leave it alone for a while, and try again later.

I will get... eventually.

the article i originally got it from (john carrol at SFGATE), and, i think, the comments on the site, mention some people take a YEAR to get it :D

consider you might be overthinking it, hence the smartness as a handicap factor ;)

I eventually got it, but it made my brain hurt. :)

Not being able to figure it out made me feel more frustrated than smart (and relieved, once I finally actually got it).

I honestly don't think the difference is really a question of how smart you are, but rather how you think about things.

Still... if my results supposedly mean I'm intelligent, I see no point in disputing them. ;)

well, you required neither a year nor even a few months, so, i would wager that indicates a rather low intelligence level, similar to my own abysmally deficient one.

i sent this out to all my family members too, and one of my uncles said it is probably easier for gamblers, as "gamblers personify and use metaphors, seeing boxcars and snake eyes for example."

Well I have dyscalculia but thought I might still manage it... but didn't. I can't figure this out at all...

well, one little hint - it's not really about math - so, you can mix up your numbers any way you want, and you might still be able to figure it out. i can give you another little hint if you would like one :)D
