haha, well for one, i can't imagine them selling the vases at such a low price...with the original price tag still on it!

seriously? my dad thought the prices at THIS thriftstore were too high. i sort of thought the same thing too, which is why i didn't buy the second one until i heard they'd reduced the price by half.

they also had some really pretty chinese flower pots for $8 each. at that price, i wasn't going to buy them. sigh. too bad i didn't realise at the time they were also probably half off. at $4 each, for 4 of them, i would have gotten them.

i guess it's what people are willing to pay for used things, and in the us, it's mainly poorer people who shop at thriftstores (second-hand stores), so they're not willing to pay much, no matter how great the item.

Not really they've quite different accents, I was just mimicing US frog accnts

I like the vases, but I think you can really see your skill in how you took the photot with your use of depth of feild.
