aaaaaaaaaaw I miss silkscreen printing :( I used to do that for a living back when I was 20ish. My uncle built this whole silkscreen printing business for us cus he has that as a hobby. I would still like to do that someday. LOL I remember I accidentally spilled bleach on my roxy shirt. It looked horrid so I was all eff this I'm gonna bleach the entire shirt! it turned out allright, not very artistic but quite wearable.
Sounds like something you and Wolf can do over the summer!
I'm not really very good at it, I don't think I'm capable of doing it for a living. Besides I'd like to start my own business so I can create my own designs :D It's tough to make decent money with that kind of business, it really is more of art than anything.
but have you looked at the business since moving to the US? i'd guess if you're not really good at it, then you'd need to work some more for someone else, before opening your own business. and i guess you could partner up with an artist. my friend actually used copyright free art from the 1800's to 1940's for her designs (which she was open about - didn't pass them off her own art).
i love hoodies, but i especially liked the long sleeved tees with doilies. i thought the gears "all over" tee looked the best, but also really, really liked the rubber bands one too.
last night wolf and i decided we'd make some for guenter's Wolf Remodel employees (so far consisting of himself, his partner kai, and one other grunt), with the company name and tools all over.
is it called something else in norwegian? it's the liquid that makes white things whiter, and also is a strong cleaner, like for tiles, sinks, toilets. it's not good for the environment, though, so i suppose it might have been banned in some countries. i just bought mine at the supermarket - it's very cheap. i rarely use it on clothes or for cleaning, except to rinse out my kitty litter box every couple of months, to get rid of the cat pee smell. and sometimes (maybe once a year) to get stains out of white clothes or towels.
i just remembered i've seen it in german stores - where they sell clothes detergent. i didn't buy it, but i remember it was called chlorin or something like that (it's chlorine bleach in english). but i guess it would also be sold at drugstores because it is used to sterilize medical supplies too.

have you thought of looking for work at such a place? i have no idea if it'd pay enough, though you never know - might be very well paid. :D
