i've heard it doesn't (i don't have any of my own - yet). each little minishrub gets bigger over the season (and a friend of mine in maine says you have to cut each shrub down by a third (or is that LEAVE only a third?) each year so the plant doesn't get too tall and woody and scraggly.
since you don't like to water, lavender sounds like a good choice. so would be the coreopsis like in the other picture (though you have to water everything regularly just in the first growing season) ;D
you know i usually don't like flower shots, but yours are always absolutely AMAZING. there's always more movement, a better use of perspective that makes me so jealous D:
i loved the whole series, but this is my favorite...i can definitely feel the waves in this one!
sigh... someday when i have a enough energy to figure out the uploading and layout designing on lulu (not to mention be able to make decisions on which photo to include, which to reject...) :/
