No sooner had we learned that the vendor of the house we liked had decided to accept the offer from the other would-be purchaser, than we were contacted by another agent with details of a house about to be put on the market, which looked very promising. So D travelled up to Ely on Tuesday to look at and reported back: it was nice and I should see
