The weekend and cookie cravings.
Ok, so the last week has been a litle bit hectic. I went to Oberlin and danced myself sore. It was fun and I got to see some friendly faces, though I'm hoping to make it down for a trip to Cleveland this weekend. Ok, I've still got a lot of work to do, but I just thought I'd share my website information with everyone. amusing anecdote:
so, my alarm must have gone off several times, for about 10 minutes each instance, this morning while I tried to figure out to get it to stop making noise. I pushed every button and turned every knob on the clock radio on by nightstand. It was only on the third or fourth time the alarm went off that I realized it was the alarm on my cellphone ( Read more... ) -

coincidences
Within the span of 3 days I managed to come back in contact with two friends whom I haven't talked to in at least 4 years. In both cases, there was no real "goodbye" we just fell out of touch and lost track of one another. It's bizarre that this should happen in such a short span of time, and quite refreshing to catch up. -
Natural disasters
They’re fickle things they are. There’s been a massive mudslide in the Philippines recently, so massive that it damn near buried an entire town. The projected number of casualties has varied greatly from news source to news source (remember the ridiculous count they had going for hurricane Katrina?), but it might be really bad. I am really quite fond of the song, Six Different Ways as performed by The Cure. I will probably always associate it with The Rules of Attraction as it is featured in the movie- which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as I quite like it (but only after a long internal monologue about the virtues of a movie that doesn't necessarily follow the book ( Read more... ) -

Hey, does anyone know who one needs to call/see to get immunization records from Olin? I need to find documentation of my meningitis vaccination freshman year (fall 99). I doubt that I still have the paperwork, but I'm hoping that Olin does. Anyone? -

So, I'm officially a quarter of a century old now. Eh. So, that's done with. Not much more to say on the subject- the whole day was rather boring and uneventful.
