It's sad how lonely I can feel when completely surrounded by friends and family. Humans spend so much of their lives fighting off loneliness, but I can't help but wonder how much of it is in vain. I wish I could connect with people better.

Seriously, I feel that way too sometimes. The only times I truly feel like I am with someone are when Jose is paying attention to me. Otherwise, I feel like I am in a glass jar, observing the world going by.
