I TOTALLY AGREE. isn't that the most annoying thing ever? that's how my boyfriend is and i finally had to just tell him not ever to bring up the subject of musical taste with me. cause he always makes fun of me... OVER SOMETHING THAT IS BASED COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY ON OPINION, not fact. but i can never seem to get that across to him. he thinks he is right. all. the. time.

i find that it's more common with guys that are in like "punk-rock-esque" bands. Not trying to stereotype but that's what I notice. and YES there is NO fact what music is good and what is not. Unless of course it's Lindsay Lohan, then it's bad, but in the end it doesn't matter if you like her, but once again she's still bad at it. If that made sense.

yeah i know... russell is in an emo-type band... i'm actually not sure what to catagorize them as now, cause they're kind of different nowadays, but they used to be punkish. i think he bases most songs on if he thinks their lyrics are good, cause he is a lyrical genius in my opinion.. he's just a really good writer. and that may give him more room to critique music, but he still needs to stop being such a nazi about it. blah.
