Nostalgia! It's everywhere!

On a lark today I drove out to Hartville to visit my cousin Cory. It was right after class and I really had no desire to return home, so I thought I'd say a howdy or two to my cuz. When I got there, we played our usual few games of Conker's Bad Fur Day and then some very heated matches on Mario Tennis (which is one of the greatest games ever made ( Read more... )

Oh, I was totally being modest up there. My deck is stacked all through the fossil series. I bought one pack of the Team Rocket cards (first edition! woot) and that's when I started losing interest. I don't think I've ever actually played the game more than twice...it was more about collecting and trading for me. But I'd love to challenge you, I think it would be a fine match :P

And I think the closest Cubone got to his skull being off was when Pikachu (I think) did some attack that spun it around the wrong way so he couldn't see anymore. I remember it happened around a pool and Cubone's trainer was some snotty girl. Do you remember that? But Cubone's face shall forever be a mystery.

...and yes, obviously I still love it. There's no way anyone would believe if I said I wasn't, especially after writing that paragraph lol

Yea, that show is horrendous. It's really only good for nostalgia and making jokes now :P Kimberly used to be my favorite, and when I watched an episode a few months back, well...she just wasn't as cool as I remember her being. She pretty much just whined about things, expressed her desire to go shopping, and/or yelled for Tommy's help.

But you can't deny that little love story they had going on was awesome when you were a kid. When Tommy turned evil and ignored Kimberly in the hallway...it was heartbreaking lol

And despite that sentence about the tent-sleeping, I have never actually been camping before. We were in my basement when the hotness was felt. But that's not to say that I would be a bad camper! Oh no, you would be lucky to have someone like me out camping with you (complaining about the bugs and the like) :)

Whoa, ok. I was more than a little joking when I wrote that in my post, but I guess it didn't come off as such. I've liked them since I was little, and I'm totally aware of how huge they were, and that there were guys in the group.

I was trying to make a point that of the bands I listed, only a select one or two members in each really contribute to the vocals. The others do sing, but they seem to mostly be reduced to backup...at least in the singing department. That's what I was going for. I didn't mean to lessen Bjorn and Benny's importance or anything like that.
