i just spent around an hour and a half making paper snowflakes and taping them to my office walls :P it's what you gotta do to make the office decorating competition if you don't have much $ to spend on crap. that, and bring stuff you don't use from home. although, i did splurge on sparkly silver snowflakes to hang from the ceiling ( Read more... ) -

learning Chinese on the sly
so it's kinda weird joining with a family where i can't really communicate with my future grandparents-in-law, or probably with anyone else that i may meet in the family outside of ken's parents and twin sister. i don't feel awkward around his grandparents; you can usually communicate what you need to without a common language. but i still think it ( Read more... )
