I have packaged up my Archos 604 Wifi to send back to Amazon.co.uk - it wasn't working properly. After giving it a full charge up, I played a video for 5 minutes today and the battery indicator went down to just 50%! I have requested a refund so I can get whatever I want to replace it. Reason I didn't request a replacement is because I haven't used

Probably just the battery indicator was wrong - battery indicators are notoriously unreliable. I basically ignore them on most electronics I have. But there is usually a way to recalibrate battery indicators by putting them through a complete discharge/charge cycle or something.

Earer in the week I got 2 hours of video viewing out of a full charge, which for a player that was supposed to ave 'up to'5 5 hours was pretty poor. I asked around and other users were getting 5-5.5 hours of video playback but the most I got was 2.5 hours, and that seemed to be decreasing with very charge :(
