cops caught him. had no insurance, or valid drivers licence. and he was speaking spanish

Wow - I'm surprised they'd be able to catch him. Go them! I assume your insurance takes over when his doesn't exist?

unfortunately no. the cost of repairs is more than what the car is worth, so insurance wont pay it. im gonna have to get what i can for my car, and use it as a down payment on a new one. which basically leaves me financially fucked
