I was reading a book today and found a major deffect in it.
Here's a letter I wrote to the publishing company in hopes of some free stuff, or maybe just a fixed copy of the book.
Dear McBooks Publishing Company,
I recently bought the book The Only Life That Mattered by James L. Nelson. I've really enjoyed what I have read so far, but when I came to the secong page of chapter 8, the next page was from the middle of chapter 3. Well I thought it was just a typo and kept reading the chapter. Well, I was wrong. It was the same as the first chapter 3 I read. So I flipped through the pages hoping the next chapter would be chapter 9. But it wasn't; it was chapter 4, instead. I countinued to find yet another chapter 5 and 6 and half of chapter 8. Then I looked at the page numbers; they were all pretty normal until i got up to page 96, which just so happened to be the second page in chapter 8. Instead of the next page being 97, it jumps down to page 49 and continues all the way up to page 96, again; then it jumps page 145, and then my chapter 15 starts on 148.
So, I basically have two of chapters 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, but I have do not chapters 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Something is definately wrong with this book.
I was dissappointed to find this mistake becuase this is a very good book and I am dying to keep reading it.
Thank You,
Nicole
