Every cup with every character? Nein, except possibly an aneurysm.
If you just win all the cups in 1st place, you can unlock a lot of stuff; mostly karts and bikes and a few characters. But to get all the characters, bikes and karts, you need to win 'em all with a * rating or better and it doesn't matter who or what vehicle you use (unless you do particularly well with one character/bike/kart or another).
I only has two of their songses, but one of them was described to me as one of their "heavier" songs. And compared to most of what I listen to, it's not very heavy at all.
If by heavy you mean thumping, thrashing, grinding, "dark", or any other word synonymous with those, then, no, it's not, and whoever was telling you this was obviously... closetbound.
Erm... heavy... Yes, that would mean thrashy or crunchy guitars/bass, and... um... other stuff.
Some guy mentioned that A7x was "heavy" in his Writer's Block post. The person who actually sent me a song said it was one of their "heavier" songs, and it was compared to another one. Not necessarily "for srs" heavy.
"Unholy Confessions" is heavier than "A Little Piece of Heaven", but is still pretty mild compared to most of what I listen to.
This whole thing kind of proves that I need to stop reading other people's responses to these things.
