Bah. Friday the 30th, I got off work half an hour later than I intended to. When I got home, no one was there, Yoshi's cage had a blanket over it, and he was nowhere to be found. Should work quite well for editing photographs (unless for some very odd reason you need fully working color profile-fu or CMYK support). It'll use a lot less RAM than CS2, too ;p.

If the interface bugs you (a lot of people hate it, I love it to bits), there's a photoshop-esque mod called GIMPshop. Uh, somewhere.

Apparently, I need the Leopard or Tiger OSX. D: I wonder how much those would run...

The only thing I'm really concerned about is squishing them properly. My photos start out as 2.x Megabytes, which translates into screen and hard drive eating photos. They get pixelated when I upload them to Photoimpression to begin with (I think they resize automatically, so that doesn't help) and then get further ruined when I squish them to manageable sizes. Usually 2500x2500 to about 600x600 or so.

Even photoimpression's files at that size are 100 KB or more, and I know I can do better than that.
