Because I've just finished uploading everything necessary for the publishing company to create my book and because it's Thanksgiving in the US (and though I'm not living there, I am still thankful for things), I wanna promote this video

So, now I'm sitting here with tears running down my face.
I can only hope that when one of my kids turns out to be gay, he/she won't need the reassurance this beautiful video gives.

I can absolutely understand that, I often have tears running down my face whenever I see one of the It Gets Better videos. There are so many people who have gone through so much. And sometimes it's just absolutely amazing and a little unbelievable how much one person can take without losing their hope.
It might be utopian but I also hope that children in the future won't have to be reassured again and again that they're beautiful and can be whatever/whoever they want to be, that they can be themselves and don't have to be afraid of it - just because it's "normal" to be yourself.
