So hands up who's reassured by the Government changing the NHS reforms from being all about competition (privatisation) to now with the proviso of it being 'more managed competition'?
There's a track off an old Elvis Costello album (the album's called 'Spike' by the way *g*), called 'Tramp the Dirt Down'. It's Costello singing that he wants to live long enough to be able to tramp the dirt down on Thatcher's grave.
I not only agreed with that song, but could quite easily transfer it to this bunch of Tories and associated Lib Dem scumbags. Never trust the right wing.
I read in Private Eye that the committee that was entrusted to do this review is stuffed full of the kind of yes-men and right wing privatisers that would only make cosmetic changes to the original draft legislation. Seems old Hislop was right.
Well, you see how well privatized healthcare works here in the U.S. So affordable and accessible to all and--oh yeah, that's right. Never mind!
It's getting so I can't listen to any politician talk these days, right or left--especially as they can't seem to keep their dicks in their pants lately.
I hear you sister. I got dissillusioned with the lot of them after working in Parliament for 7 years. You can't trust a politician further than you can throw them.
