Misfits and stuff...

Kelly is my hero; kneeing Hitler in the gonads and fookin' hating Nazis before shooting them with a gun in each hand. Eat your heart out Quentin Tarrantino, your Inglourious Basterds had nothing on Misfits.

It's a great show, isn't it? I think I like it more now that Nathan's gone.

Simon and Kelly were always my favourites. The new guy is obviously Nathan's replacement in terms of personality as well as to make up the numbers, so I don't really see it being better or worse because of Nathan's absence. However, I'm enjoying the writing in this season better than the previous one. Maybe it's the absence of a specific arc so far.

I think the thing about Rudy as opposed to Nathan is that, though he's just as foul-mouthed, he has this weird sort of innocent, naive quality about him. He's not setting out deliberately to shock. Whereas Nathan's foul-mouthedness was very knowing and came across to me as grandstanding, so there where times when it just felt like the Nathan Show. It feels much more of an ensemble piece now.

Hmmm... I never saw Nathan in that light, which is probably why I find the new guy almost an exact replacement - although still less integral to the group than Nathan (which is apt as he was a stranger to them until recently).
