Lovely story! Though it was really hard seeing Masashi as a married man, that was painful XD
I have other ideas about the twelve steps but they are for personal reasons (or more like I needed to believe in them-I'm not an alcoholic though, just had a really rough time trying to be "normal") a higher power doesn't have to mean God, and it doesn't have to be the responsible of all the bad in the world (?) anyways I remember that was like the last step not the second XD I guess they are different for each county.

I looked up the steps, I'm assuming I was probably reading the American ones. And I get "Higher Power" isn't necessarily "God" but I can think of nothing I would class as such in my personal life. The closest we get is society, but giving myself over to society is exactly the last thing I would do. That being said, I pretty much don't drink ever and have never been drunk. I think I'm a far cry from needing such groups.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. :) I know it's darker than I normally write, but that's just the way it had to be.

I like dark stories too XD the higher power can be fate too (?) XD I don't know we all believe what we need to believe to be happy I guess... ?
