Interesting twist. I think I believe Zero inasmuch as he believes that Yuuki is a saviour of sorts. He certainly seems to have protected his own pet as much as he can. I don't trust any of them anymore, though, so I wonder what his end game is.

Yeah, Zero 100% believes Yuuki is a saviour and protector, and for him personally he very much has been. But as Zero said himself, Yuuki's behaviour was enough to make those closest to Zero worry. No vampire in this story can be trusted completely, they all put their own needs and desires first.

Honestly, I never thought of this as a plot twist at all, but you're the second person to comment on that. :) Maybe because MiA had grown used to living with Koichi, had learned the rules and settled in, now he has to start all over again, with new vampires he doesn't know. Yuuki in particular is an enigma to him at this point. What he has seen, and what Zero has told him, don't match up. But he's seen Koichi's act, so different to what he has known, as well. He's in a strange limbo where he's not confident he knows who Koichi is, never mind Yuuki. So once again his life has been tipped upside down, and he has to figure out the best way to survive.

I probably should have elaborated a bit more but I was a bit busy XD I meant, I don't know how Yuuki is or if he is even reliable, but I hadn't seen him as someone who would offer help to MiA. This of course could be a trap (?) but I will leave all my conjectures out and wait for the new chapter XD

You're quite right, it could be a trap, which is why MiA will be very cautious. He's not just going to take Zero's word for it.
