I've finally figured out what I'm giving up for Lent. Yes, I know, I'm a few weeks late, but this time, because of the shortness of the fasting, I can do it! I am giving up Blood Flavored Lollipops. Yes, my favorite sweet. But atleast I have sugar quills, right?

*raises eyebrows* You're a Catholic, then? Or an Anglican? What does the modern Church think about witchcraft? I've always wondered...

Catholic. I'm not qutie sure what they think... my family doesn't really go to church anymore.

Oh, but do you celebrate the holidays? I've got a Jewish friend who says his faith reconciles nicely with his magic, but Catholicism...well, there's a huge history of conflict there.

Sorry, I'm a dork about stuff like this. It's sort of a hobby. I'm Anglican myself.

Yes, I celebrate the holidays like Christmas, Easter, and all that. Who misses free presents? ;)

Given that Easter is only a week and a half away, I'm sure this miniature fast will be trying, but doable. Best of luck.

Shame, I would have liked to know what the church thinks of natural-born witches and wizards. Must create some sort of grey area.

Hehe, yes that's why I waited so long to make a resolutiony thing. You know, this whole giving up thing isn't too hard.. I've only had a craving 3,000,000,000,000 times! The sugar quills help.

It is a grey area. There are fanatics on both sides: those thinking that God has singled out witches and wizards because they are better than mere humans, and those who believe that our powers come from Satan.
