God Mother

I just ran into my God Mother on Water Street. Sharon Trueman, She's this super amazing artist who was best friends with my father when he was alive. She lives in Nova Scotia and i've only met her a couple of times. She bought me Chai tea and we talked for over an hour while it rained outside. We stared into eachother's eyes and she told me that

ah you lucky young woman to have these kind of women in yr life and it was a beautiful way to tell about yr father. Nothing was sappy or too precious: it was stalwart and true and strong. I feel like yr life is gonna be the same way: full of strength and goodness.

well, good, i'm glad i could do something. there is still a box here getting bigger and bigger, and on the 1st, when i get my disability check, i shall mail it. i must have six boxes to various friends and relatives, and leafy poor dear is waiting (or not) for two!
