Why I am Spoiler Free

Feb 12, 2006 22:19

The reasons that I am now spoiler free:

Behind the cut:

1) Opinions. I hate it when people post 2 words to 2 sentences in the spoiler thread that are just basic opinion. Example: "This is cool. I can't wait." or "I agree" (oh gosh I HATE this) or "I am not looking forward to this episode" (Yeah? Well, you probably aren't the only one, and if I read anymore comments like this one, I don't think I will either.) I especially hate the posts that just contain the phrase "Thank you for the spoilers." (I UNDERSTAND that you are thanking Mystery, and she knows it, BUT, you could at least put it with something meaningful.) It is just too time consuming to go through loads of these little posts (sigs and all -- especially if your computer is slow). You know it is really bad when you are trying to sort through ALL 70 pages of a spoiler expecting to find more information on the upcoming episode and you waste your time because you soon find out that there aren't any spoilers past page 10! PAGE 10!!!!!!! Yikes... now, what? you've wasted about 40 to 1 hour of your time online... ... ... JUST TO LOOK AT COMPLAINTS/COMMENTS!!! Oh, and the Disputes! (but that is another story)... (Now, if it is a HEAVY -- and by heavy I mean a hug or something -- GSR episode, It may be worth it to wade through all of those posts, but otherwise... no... not gonna happen)

2) I hate hearing about the bad things (such as the original Lady Heather 6x15 "Pirates of the Third Reich" ending (which, I thought the episode was quite good)... It ruins my mood and I never look forward to the episode. Good things (HEAVY GSR -- or even just the little trails of GSR) are a different story...
