The dentist I've seen for years is Dr. Levine, from a recommendation from a former co-worker. Nice, friendly guy, nice offer, great staff. Not the cheapest, but if you've got insurance then it covers the majority of the headaches. And if you need a crown, they have a nifty machine that does it in house, no waiting two weeks with a temporary.

He has two locations, one at Clmt. Mesa and Genesee, and another in La Jolla (http://www.flossman.com/Contact.aspx), just call to see if they take your insurance. Good luck!

Really nice lady on the phone. by the way, she said that machine is about 150,000 dollars!!

Dang, but I believe it! They do a scan of your tooth, it shows up on the computer in a 3D image, and then they plot the points to fill the gap, and 15 minutes later, they have a crown! Plus, the leather patient chairs are like buttah!

Dr. White, in Oceanside/Vista is awesome. He's done my teeth since they first came in, when I was a wee lil tot. Might be a bit of a drive for you, though.
