OH MY how lovely. the scene on the impala was so sweet, so very Dean and Cas, never knowing what to do or how. Although I was Mighty damn impressed with Cas,holding Dean's hand and busting out the i love you. Go Cas!
The fight scene, oh god, i kept bitin my nails saying:

I had a lot of fun writing it, and dealing with the different times they could have said how the felt but didn't. I'm glad you were affected by it and thank you for reading and reviewing!

This story is so sad in some ways, and so hopeful in others. Cass and Dean on the hood of the Impala was just perfect, as was the lovely IC-ness. Cass's “I had been hoping to wait longer, Dean.” Damn him, the bastard even had the indecency to be disappointed; frowning, chin tilted downward and eyes narrowed, as if Dean had disobeyed him and forgotten to do his chores. was so spot-on. Sounds just like Cass.

And the sadness wasn't even really over them dying because, you know, at least they're together, as much as the reminder of Sam's heaven not really including Dean. Even thinking about the part where Dean realized it breaks my heart.

(and yes, okay, I have read this before, but now I've actually seen the episodes, and know the guys better, so it's like I'm looking at it new)

I know, the real tragedy of this fic is that Sam is still alive, without Dean. It honestly broke my heart when they didn't share a heaven in the show. However, with a former angel with Dean, I'm sure they'll be able to visit Sam when he dies. Cas knows the inner workings of heaven well enough, I'd think.that they'd be able to.

This story was complicated, because it was fluffy and angsty, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
