It sucked.
There was a difference between knowing that everything must have changed and learning that everything had changed. Some things were still the same: American football was still the best, Batman was still a jerk, Superman was still that impossibly aloof ideal ( ... )

Finding Tim was surprisingly hard, even if you had heat vision, x-ray vision and were really, really awesome. Which, of course, Kon was. But Tim was ridiculously hypervigilant and competent, so Kon didn't take it too badly when instead of finding Tim, Tim found him instead ( ... )

Ada pulled at her stockings one last time, checked that her hair ribbons were securely in place and then paused to finger her new-minted prefect badge, sitting jauntily on her lapel. “I never was,” Ada corrected. “Uncle Oscar and I always knew that one day, Oz would come back from the Abyss. I was just making sure he had a place to come back to.” She smiled at Elliot’s incredulous expression. “We didn’t expect it to be this soon.”
“This soon? This soon?” Elliot exploded. “Ada, he’s ( ... )
