I have been searching for a bedroom suite for a few months now, so far there has only been one that I really, genuinely liked, but it is over $3k which is way beyond my means. This makes for a sad kristen, I will have to settle for something that I'm not crazy about but at least I have some time to work myself into it.

I did however decide on a phone, well 90% certain at least. I'm returning to Samsung, looking to the A523 to reknew my faith in mobile phones. http://www.telusmobility.com/mb/pcs/handset_samsung_sph_a523.shtml

I gave the boys some apple pear & pomagranite with their supper tonight, they are very VERY happy. The problem though is that they are messy eaters so I had to cover the hallway in newspaper, which penny decided was SUPER FUN to run around blowing it everywhere. SO to solve the problem and keep the carpet unstained i trapped her in the computer room while the boys were dining.

This is what I saw for the better part of an hour

Fun eh?

She is now dozing on the giant costco bed that you can see underfoot in the picture, peacefully releasing gas between her gentle snores.

Ahhh pets. Hard to believe she'll be a year old already in December. She still looks like a little puppy to me, but when other people see her they tend to be :O. At the petstore yesterday one man commented that she is twice the size of his golden, I think it must be a small golden cause she isn't THAT big.

Still researching the tortoise, the more I learn the more it sounds like a Russian is in my future. Their size, diet, and housing, IS all within my means. I do still have many months to work out the details but I think I'll set him up in the office. I considered the basement but it is a bit cooler and would probably be more suitable for a hibernation area. Then again, I could also use the front porch for hibernation. I will check how cool it gets over this winter and figure out if it would be acceptable.

Tomorrow I get to practice walking ponies :D Can't wait, still feels funny getting 'trained' in something that I used to do everyday at home with Freckles, but I understand why they want the training done. The miniature horses & donkeys I'm fine with, still a bit leary of the reindeer and the camel though. I'm definitly not ready to try the yak :P The reindeer I can control alright but with them out of velvet I would NOT feel safe in a crowd situation, and the camel.. well I can get her to kush which is nice but again would not feel safe in a crowd!
