I thought the most comedy moments were the episodes of dodgy accent fail :-)

And we so need to find some southern jessie that calls it "Brarse" rather than "t'Brass"

If you haven't played it I strongly recommend Twilight Imperium. At least as long as you have a day or so to set aside and dont mind frienship destroying moments of subterfuge and betrayal.

Rick and co call it "Twiglet Imperium", and declared it to be "too fussy" with all the different bits.
I'm trying to think if it was also the same game as "Empires of Plastic" - but I've a feeling that was something else!

I wouldn't say it was more complicated than, say, Arkham Horror. It does have a bazillion little plastic pieces but they are pretty easy to distinguish from each other.
