My reaction to Merlin episode 4x03. Cut for spoilers and mindless squee.
Okay, first of all it's been a week and I still tear up whenever I think of Lancelot. I seriously cannot believe he is dead. *sobs*
Hahaha, oh Merlin. Your face. Oh boys. ♥♥ Be more married. I dare you.
Oh Arthur. ♥ Every time I think I cannot possibly hate Uther anymore than I already do he goes around and does something awesome like refusing to miss Arthur's birthday. ARTHUR! ♥♥ HIS FACE.
*sobs* Don't show me the knights, I can't bear not seeing Lancelot there.
HAHAHA. The apple. Oh Bradley, you have the best facial expressions! ♥
HAHAHAHA. Oh boys. "You're not wearing any trousers." Merlin. So blaze. ♥ Because seeing Arthur half-naked doesn't even phase him anymore. But he can't help getting a good look nonetheless.
"Guards!" OMG. Sound more helpless. OMG! GO UTHER!! You're kicking arse and taking names. Oh. OH. OMG. "Guards." <--- broke me. Poor Arthur. Every instinct is telling to get help yet Uther's dying wish is that you stay. "GUARDS! Someone... we need help." ARTHUR! *sobs*
Boys.
Okay, someone please explain to me why Agravaine is helping Morgana. I can understand it if his vendetta against Uther and wanting him dead is a result of him blaming Uther for Ygraine's death but that doesn't explain why he would aid Morgana against Arthur. Urgh Gwen. The great thing about this season so far is the lack of Gwen.
Merlin. Always so pretty when upset. OMFG!! THAT LOOK!! HE KNOWS MERLIN!! HE TOTALLY KNOWS ABOUT YOUR MAGIC!!
Oh poor Merlin.
"If you were me, if it was your father, would you use magic to save his life?" "Yes I would, I'd do whatever it took." Can I just say how much I love this scene. It is incredibly powerful. On one hand we have Arthur, who is asking the closest thing to a friend he has whether using something as evil as magic is worth the risk of his father's life and on the other we have Merlin, who he has to choose between his own feelings and goals for magic and whether he is doing the right thing by Arthur. ♥♥
Oh Merlin. "The old man can hardly make a living practicing magic." You need to be more subtle. A touch of bitterness came through. "He's a doddery old man, he can't have gone far." Hahaha. Oh Merlin. LOLOL
HAHAHA. Oh Arthur. *sighs* First you break the pot and then you tried to hide it by pushing it under the table. HAHAHA "I take it you didn't come all this way just to smash my favourite pot!"
