AN: Long time no see! After this, I will get to work on finishing up old fics, promise! This is a sad little song-fic, in sort of my own AU. But, anyway on with this short one-shot!

'This is my Winter song to you, The storm is coming soon, It rolls in from the sea.'

Daesung sighed softly as he closed his eyes, letting the cold sea air wash over his body, the rain trickling down his face, as it fell softly from the sky. As time passed his hair clumped and stuck against his face, and the nape of his neck. Painfully, snow started to fall, single flakes here and there at first, and then it seemed the rain had disappeared in the onslaught of cold white chill. The brunette stood up, and walked to the railing that bordered his small balcony.

'My voice a beacon in the night, My words will be your light, To carry you to me.'

He let his voice carry, where ever it wanted, as he quietly, but steadily began to sing, letting his voice grow in volume. As he looked down, he noticed a pale older man staring back at him, wide-eyed, long black hair framing his thin face. Daesung smiled as he almost seemed to direct his melodies to this one man in the middle of the empty street. But as quickly as it began, Daesung stopped, and closed his eyes, only opening them to return inside of his apartment and leave the man outside, the illusion of love at first sight, marred and shot down, all but leaving a lingering feeling deep with in.

'Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love'

Daesung let his body fall limp on the floor of the dance studio, as air rushed in and out of his lungs, through plump, parted lips. The brunette cringed as he got up, he was alone in this room. He pet a bittersweet smile spread across his lips, as he began to effortlessly sing, the beautiful, harmonized, rich voice flew out of his moth like velvet, silk to the eardrums. And just like that, the same raven haired man appeared in the window viewing into the small room. Daesung turned around, and his heart instantly flew out of his chest. The other walked in, shutting the door behind himself, and he began to rap. The brunette smiled as he began to sing again, this time along aide the other male.

'They say that things just cannot grown, Beneath the winter snow, Or so I have been told.'

They're eyes locked, like previous times before, and the small garden growing, and connecting their hearts, continued to grow and flourish between them. It was still so cold, despite the warmth that was spreading, and Daesung continued to sing his sad longing songs, may they be sung to no one, or a warm heart, ready to listen. His name was Seunghyun, and even though he possessed cold looks, and a chilled atmosphere, he was so very warm, but, they were still so far apart, and slowly, the warmth that had once claimed them, began to diminish, and wilt, like a dying flower.

'They say we'er buried far, Just like a distant star, I simply cannot hold.'

Daesung began to sing, one lonely morning, in that same old studio room, it was fall, months had gone by since he had last seen Seunghyun, but now, he was faced with a new man, curiously peering into his too
, cautiously, but unlike previously, where both hearts had been cold, his was warm from the start. And it felt soothing. And their voices, coincided wonderfully, as the other sang along side him and his lonely voice, this stronger, happier rhythm, almost instantly began to lift him up. But still, that feeling, despite being replaced with new found seeds, and new roots, replacing old, that have almost withered away, to the point of nonexistence, they still felt foreign, and strange.

'Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love alive?'

Bright replaced dreary tunes, as they harmonized, and combined their voices, Daesung, and the other male, this was one also older then him, but younger, Taeyang was his name. Instead of secluded dinners, and quite evenings spent alone together, brunette and brighter raven hair, were thrusted into a sea of parties and cheerful laughter, and, just like before, it felt so wrong. The laughter, the kind, happy words. And the love was not there, like before, this unsettling feeling was all wrong. So, Daesung ended it, and their final love song was sung, their words, broken, the lies, erased.

'This is my winter song, December never felt so wrong, Cause your not where you belong, inside my arms.'

Daesung let the tears fall, as he sang his bone chilling song, the judges watching, awe struck, until the very last note was uttered. And like that it was over, the brunette collapsed, and he was rushed to the hospital, his raven, like a ghost in the corner of his vision. The diagnoses was grim, Daesung's vocal cords were beyond repair, he would never speak again, let alone sung beautiful melodies. Tears fell, along with hope, all emotions vanished, but still, small pockets of love prospered, growing deep with in a sad shell of dead emotions. The moment Daesung was released from the hospital, he was met with rays of sunshine, and hope. And for the first time, in a long time, a beautiful smile, exuberant, and full of life graced his lips.

'I still believe in summer days, The seasons always change, And life will find a way.'

Seunghyun stood outside that familiar door he had grown to longingly love with all of his cold heart. Unlike many cold nights long ago where he would come here to try and fend of the winters harsh kiss. But now, he was hot, his skin flush red, sweat staining his clothes and face, the raven unlocked the door with his key, thanking everyone and everything the locks had not been changed. As he opened the door, he instantly fell to his knees. Daesung smiled sweetly, throat bandaged up, but not even that doing anything to take away from the brunettes beauty. Seunghyun stood up and walked towards the other, bringing him into his arms, and all they did was smile, no sad songs were sung, or deep sorrow filled raps were performed.

'I'll be your harvester of light, And send it out tonight, So we can start again.'

Seunghyun bursted out laughing as he fell over, spilling the box of clothes he had Bren carrying. Daesung stood to the side, and let his own silent cheer ring out of his exuberant face. The older jumped up and grabbed the other, bringing him into a hug and lifting him into the air. Their smiles grew brighter as silence grew around them, Seunghyun let the other down, and excepted the sweet kiss that followed. But, before the moment was lost the bright raven began to sing, his voice low, rough, but trying. He managed to execute an eerily beautiful tune, with a small rap in the middle, but, unlike before, with sad melodies, and heart broken plea's, or high, delighted fits of cheer, this, sweet, loving song fit just right between the two, nestled between the warmest hearts you could find.

'Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love alive?

END.

AN: Did it fit alright? It was my first time doing something like this, also, tell me if something doesn't fit, and I will revise it.
