Title: Home Sweet Home (Inside our Hearts)
Parings: Todae
Rating: PG
Warnings: None. Possibly for mentions of bad things, but that's it.

AN: I was re-reading this, hoping to finish it, but it seemed it was stopped at a perfect spot, and I couldn't figure out how to go on with it, so it's done.

The air was cold, as a tall figure continued on, determined to reach his destination. He carried on quickly, covered from head to toe in the thick darkness, only his eyes were visibal, along with a few inches of skin. As the minutes seemed to drag on, it all became very apparent at the predicament he was facing, as the mounds of snow surrounding the walk way he was following began to grow more and more, snowfall quickening as the seconds passed by.

But as he reached the building, marked for closure, surrounded by a drug dealer on every cornor and gangs filling the streets, all he could do was look up at the railing to the only apartment balchony not covered in useless items, or riddled with disgusting trash and grime. Rather covered and decorated with cheerful holiday items, bringing a sense of light to this gloomy place.

He kept on looking until the snow that had accumilated on his head and shoulders had started to infiltrate his thick padding, signalling his need to take that final trudge up the stairs, and into the warmth he knew would be waiting for him. So he proceeded, opening the door with force, as it tended to stick more strongely this time of year, slamming it shut behind him, and carrying on up the ten flights of stairs, not even glancing towards the elevator, now riddled with grafitti that had stopped working around nine months ago.

He took slow strides, only quickening when other residence's passed him on their way down. By the sixth floor as always's he had become tired, his leg's aching from the regaining of life as they warmed up slightly, but they were still rather numb, like the rest of his body. It only hurt him further as he practically ran up the rest of the way, knowing the numerous prostitutes and dealer's who sold the more deadly addictions would be leaving to make their own living, no matter how wretched it was. He hated every second he had to spend passing them on the journey up, but finally there he was, apartment 10-D. The only door cared enough about to be decorated, even if it was just a simple sign, the only door to be continuosly painted after numerous drawings had been sprayed onto it, the only door that held in love, kept away from the cold hands of those living outside it's sturdey barrier.

He kept quiet and still a moment longer, before reaching for the handle that was never locked at this hour, and opening it, almost instantly an array of delicious smells hitting his nose. As the heat he missed soon surrounded him, turning his numb body better again. "Seunghyun, is that you?" There it was, the most beautiful voice known to man rang in his ears, causing a smile to break onto his face behind his thick black scarf. The tall man began to take off his coat, earmuffs, scarf, gloves, and beanie, and soon his shoes, opting for a more comfortable pair of slippers.

"Yes, it's me." His deep voice replied, walking down the tiny hallway, passing the small bathroom to finally see an adorable brunette cooking in their overly cramp kitchen. It was perfect, the bubbling pot's, sizzling pans, over the top decorations covering everything, ton's more then were ever seen on the outside, and finally, he was perfect. "How was work?" The cheerful man questioned, pulling off his slightly dirty apron and tossing in on a cluttered counter top before wrapping his arms around the taller's neck. "Wonderful like usual, got yelled at for doing my job perfecty, got my crappily made lunch stolen from the refridgerator, and had to walk home in the cold, until I was met with the sight of the most gorgeous man in the world cooking a beautiful dinner.

"What about you Sungie, how was your day?" The raven let his hands slide around the other's waist, squeezing on his hips before fully engulfing him in a tight hug, holding their bodies together. "Good, me and Seungri went to go look for apartments together, found a huge apartment for all of us, rather then having to rent two like we are doing here. It's across town, and thankfully all the elevator's work, best of all, it's close enough for you, Youngbae, and Jiyong to come back home for a much better lunch, rather then having to buy something at the store." "That all sounds sublime."

The pair continued on holding each other, loving the contact, until there was a nock on the door, followed by a light kick to the bottom, and then a harder bang to the top. They laughed, shared a soft kiss before parting, Seunghyun to the door, Daesung to finish with the cooking. On the other side of the door stood three men, one wearing a panda hat and a white oversized coat, another bundled up within layer's of stylish winter attire, and the final, with a cap on his head, a smile on his face and a lame attempt at a baked cake in his hands.

"Hey Ri, Jiyong, Youngbae, come in." The trio quickly complied, shedding their jacket's and happily making themselves at home. Youngbae and Seungri making their way to fill up the rest of the small space in the kitchen with the flustered brunette, and Jiyong to happily chat away with the tallest. Soon this home they had all created togetherwould be boxed up and stripped bare, warmth pealed from the walls and folded inside their hearts.

They would leave, like they did with the apartment before this and reach their new home, but unlike the ones before, this new empty place would be vaccant of the disgusting vile horrors that riddled the air and streets, for a more safe inviornment. But it never really mattered, nothing like that ever did, not as long as they had each other, with that, they would make any place a home they would love to come to day after day, for the rest of their lives.
