I called the pet crematory today and picked out the urn for Nick's ashes - the brochure says how they're really called 'cremains', but that just sounds fake and silly - and we will be getting him back on Thursday. He will be placed on the shelf next to Ezra, where they will be forced to get along for all

That moment when you remember is horrible. Like waking up thinking it's the weekend, then realizing you actually have to work. Same sensation, just a whole lot worse.
