You know what, I was going to repeat my admonishment from earlier but forget it; I don't know if I'll ever get the point across without you being all defensive and missing the point again. I'm just going to say that I feel personally insulted by this as I consider myself one of these "pathetically unfuckable" people. Don't say I'm not because I am--a hyper-obsessed nerd, still working on his social skills, painfully unsuccessful with the opposite sex. Tell me the truth, Becky, do you look down on me for being an awkward, anime-loving virgin? The ironic thing is, I consider your husband one of these nerd people too. At least he was willing to dress up for JAFAX on occasion, something I was not about to do even if they paid me.

stop taking everything so personally, it gets old. i've looked at several of your comments on others journals and i have to say you take a lot of things personally that i'm sure were not meant to barb you. you need to learn to have an open mind about these things. not everyone out there is trying to hurt you, some of them are your friends. while i've never met you i'm sure you can be a nice guy.

hmm, it sure would be nice to know who posted this. It strikes me as a bit odd whenever someone thinks they can lecture someone so bluntly while remaining anonymous. why be afraid of showing yourself if you're so willing to share your opinion

becky's blog is very critical. the blogreader posts are mine. anon is not mine. and why on earth would i leave my name when becky is sure to take offense at being pulled up on her tendency to dismiss and put people down so readily? oh the world would be such a better place if we were all like becky and tim, wouldn't it? i think not. i vaguely knew becky in japan so there seems little point in identifying myself. the only reason i read this is because i have a very boring job with not much to do.

okay, let me rephrase that for you. one critical anonymous post is already trolling, I just try to be a nice guy most of the time and I thought I'd give a freebie. I'm not so generous when people take potshots at my friends, though. what you see me doing above is an attempt at admonishment from a friend, no matter how misdirected and judgmental it seems it does not diminish that I accept her as a valued friend and as a human being in general. sorry if you missed that and thought you could be opportunist in jumping on the negativity bandwagon. to answer your question, you would leave your name if you had any spine whatsoever because it's the honorable thing to do. you would leave your name precisely because what your saying is bound to offend her and thus she has a right to confront you about it. if you're going to be a jerk you should at least have the decency to allow her that. Becky's blog is not critical, it's a blog. it's where she goes to vent and share her opinion and most of the time it's an excellent one at that,
