Starting April 2nd I will be working for UBC. Pretty decent pay, killer benefits, lots of time off, free tuition, and a short commute. Life is good.

Unfortunately as I was putting together my resume and stuff for the job, I noticed buried way down in the text (it really was buried and wasn't listed in the actual list of requirements) was that fluence in an Indic language (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Sanskrit) was required for the job. Sucks because it was cataloguing which is what I really want to do if possible. :(

But I really do think you're going to have to call me soon then, if you are ever going to get your birthday lunch. :-) UBC is a long way from downtown.

There may even be a staledate on the offer... ;-)

I've been so spaced out with the job search and whatnot. Now that that is sorted, it's a lot more likely that I have time. Just let me lock down the training schedule for the next week and a half and then I will tell you what days I can do lunch. Btw, thanks for the offer. :)
