Adventures in Snakesitting

Day 1 - Place snake in cage, spend the next few hours watching him explore and try to escape the enclosure.  Learn that he can reach up to the temperature gauge mounted at top of glass easily and that he can wedge himself into a tiny crack right behind the final stopping point of the lid.  When lid is removed, snake falls to the substrate.  Must be
