Firstly, I love you and I'm not going to unfriend you because of your political views. That's just loony.

BUT how were we not living in a Socialist society already? Didn't our government just bail out our financial institutions to the tune of $700 BILLION? If that's not redistribution of wealth, I don't know what is.

Whether you like The Man or not, you have to admit our country is in the crapper and we desperately need a change. The repubs weren't doin' it. Give the man a chance.

That is redistribution of wealth. And I was totally against that. The way I figured it, they took chances and had their asses handed to them, so fuck 'em. If I go to Vegas and lose all my money the government is not going to bail my ass out, they will just let my wife kill me.

Honestly, I haven't heard any redeeming qualities from either side. I tend to lean more towards democrat, but really I found it hard to vote for any side this year. even the independents. Pretty sure that our country's gonna go into the crapper for the next decade or so no matter who is president. Just like the Japanese who did a similar financial bailout, we'll most likely have the same economic turmoil
