Personality:
At first glance, Will's a serious person who is devoted to his job. With his intelligence, he executed many Witches and solved many mysteries. But after years of watching sad endings, Will got tired of them. He would now fight to prevent them from happening no matter who he has to fight. He will fight to prevent them happening no matter who he has to fight with. He will do anything to create a happy ending.
He posses a great will in order to achieve the truth. Even if a Witch says something negative, it won't make his resolve fall. When Will is determined to do something, it's hard to stop him. However, Will's not the kind of guy that would hurt innocent people who don't deserve it in order to achieve his goal.
This man will not tolerate injustice in general. He follows a set of rules, known as the Van Dine's Commandments, which he will rely on to judge others. You will not see Willard letting someone die if he can stop it, especially if that person is named Ushiromiya Lion.
Will doesn't need to know everyone's secrets if they don't want to share them, he respects others' opinions and thinks they have the right to not tell their secrets. But most of the time, Will speaks in a way that might sound pretty rude. When speaking about the truth, he will not hesitate in making his point of view clear and inform the other person of his opinion about the issue.
Let's not forget about the Heart. For him, one of the most important things in everyone is the Heart. He will put himself into the other's position to understand the reason behind their actions. For him, most of the detectives lack the understanding of the Heart, and that's why they cannot solve some of their mysteries.
Also, he's a calm man with a great mind. He was able to solve the mystery only using the first fourth episodes. However, he will not brag about it or show it off. He prefers people using their own mind to reach the answer. But even the most calm man can get angry at someone who laughs at others' pain. Especially when they hurt others only to amuse themselves. For him, people's lives aren't something to be played with from the beginning.
Apparently, Will likes cats. And he's really devoted to his lady.

Abilities:
Will is able to fight with a sword based style with his awesome pitch-black sword that he uses to fight Witches. He can use Van Dine's Commandments to deny witches' existence and counterattack them with the Blue Truth and Red Truth.
His physical endurance is amazing too. When he's not using his sword, he can still fight barehanded and headbutt even the Goats. That's our detective

He might have to fight any number of monsters in order to move quickly to a certain place, but Will didn't care at all. As soon as he found out that Bernkastel was here, and knew that Lion was in the other part of the city, he rushed there without resting to keep his promise. Besides, he didn't like the idea of having that Witch around.
They weren't her toys, and they never were to begin with. He even made friends with one of the creatures around this place in order to gain knowledge of the creatures of this place. Because of the resemblance to someone he knew, and the fact he couldn't speak cat-talk, Will decided to refer to her as Diana.
"You shouldn't have eaten those berries, Diana." He said with the same face as ever and then let a small sigh leave his lips. "Once we arrive at a calm place, I'll buy you some food." Will added after that, looking for the cat's approval.
The cat-like creature replied with a happy purr, excited at the idea. She made herself comfortable in Will's hair as the man was walking through the forest trying to reach the city. A few hours later, he managed to leave the creature with someone and went to buy some food.
When Will came back, he found that part of the place's furniture had been destroyed. The only thing Will did was sighing at the scene, his expression didn't change at all. Diana appeared some minutes later, claiming her food. The Inquisitor just looked at her, almost if he were trying to understand the reason behind it.
"... Hn. You honor your name, you know?" Will said as he knelt down to feed the creature. The girl approached the owner of that creature, who just stood up and put his hands in his pockets, with a small paper in her hand and a confused expression appeared on her face.
It was a bill.
"Don't try to understand it. It'll only give you a headache. I'll pay for what Diana destroyed," was the first thing he said, and then he looked at her in the eyes. "Hn... My apologizes. But you will have to wait for me a bit longer." With a small glance at the cat, who was finally happy to have her stomach full, Will left the place to find Lion in the city and make sure Lion was safe.
He could only hope that Diana wouldn't destroy anything else while he wasn't there.

An interesting device for this Fragment.. but I have no time to check it more thoroughly. If this is recording, then there must be someone else to whom is this adressed to. Hn. I'll get to the point. I'm looking for someone who goes by the name Lion Ushiromiya, and I don't have time to waste in this. Any information is appreciated.
[What manners, really. A small sigh leaves his lips. His golden eyes look sharp during the next part, but it's mostly for himself.]
