Birthday present!

Jim is in the process of leaving a present stuck inside Adrian's door. It's rather scruffily wrapped, but he did the best he could. Inside the package is this.

Adrian won't find it until later (he's off somewhere -- the library, actually, which only proves the appropriateness of the gift) but when he does he smiles, and, intending only to skim a few pages, ends up distracted for quite a while -- it won't be until much later that he remembers himself and seeks Jim out to thank him.

Jim, then, will be -- apparently, climbing a tree outside somewhere. His coat's on the ground, though, so it's fairly obvious he's up there.
