How glee is making me crazy.

I just realised, reading a bit of reaction fic for Glee's 4.03 that I understand both Kurt and Blaine and in a way, I've and I am still today experiencing just what they are.

I was miserable in grade school. Maybe not miserable when in the lower grades, mostly because I was too naive for that. Now, the last two grades, I think that word fits. I had ( Read more... )

Even before reading how you personally relate to Kurt's and Blaine's situation, I 'like' the direction Glee is going with them. Because they need to experience these growing pains because those are the things that make us grow as persons. I think what they are going through, is human and believable and relatable like you said.

It's very clearly something they have to go through.

What I think can happen here, is that if they communicate properly, compromise and understand each other, they should get to a better place. Because Kurt can inspire the same hope in Blaine that he had in McKingley. The endless mantra of "I'm going to get out of this".

They have the potential of hope, of it getting better. Instead of ending up in a situation where Kurt can only feel sorry for Blaine and do nothing about it, he can hope with him. All this though, won't happen until they communicate about this.

*hugs*

Finn is there to surprise Rachel, of course! I'm actually looking forward to this love triangle. It's got to be more interesting than the Rachel/Finn/Quinn triangle for the past...three years.

That's actually a great point. It must be more interesting. But unlike before, with Rachel/Finn/Quinn, I'm actually rooting for someone here. I'm rooting for Brody/Rachel, and I care about the results.

What makes you root for Brody instead of Finn?

I don't like Finn, plus, I think Rachel needs to cut off that tie. As rough and hard as it sounds, she needs to get away from her old life, or at least the parts that made her feel badly at some point (even if Finn loves her now, he was the focal point of many unpleasant scenes for Rachel) and Brody is a new thing, an experience of sorts and even if they won't be sweethearts forever, or do something drastic like, say marry dating Brody for a while might help Rachel move on and up and mature. She needs to.
