My first car was a '97 Honda Civic EX, stick shift. I loved that car. When we went to the lot to buy a third car (for the family but I was to be its main driver) we were going there to buy this 96 accord that my dad had seen previosuly. yah, younger siblings . . . it's all fun and games until they take your stuff. my sister not only lost a piece of my rearview mirror in a fight with the garage, she also pushes the seat up way too far and leaves her keys in the ignition and changes my radio station presets. this wouldn't be bad if she didn't program the same station three times. there should be a sort of ceiling for the aging of siblings, in my opinion, and it should never allow them to exceed fourteen years of age. this is the natural order of things, and this continued aging simply cannot be tolerated.

Being the younger sib...Lets see...my brother crushed the back of my now car thus the leak in the trunk and with the car he has now that I will get he 1. scratched it on a mailbox backing up because he doesnt bother looking behind him but in the rearview mirror 2. messed bunch of parts up by skidding off a dirt road into a ditch by taking a fast turn 3. left the anntenna up during a carwash
To all this his response is I didnt mean to do it and it still runs so who cares what it looks likes...Im not going to fix it

Somehow I ended up being the "older" sib that doesnt want the car messed up.

Erin--your sister is just SHORT so she has to pull the seat up!!

Yea, i'm all for this ceiling on the aging of siblings. Actually my brother and I were discussing it and we agreed that HE is about 12 or 13ish all the time and that i was stuck around the age of 16 or 17 in each of our minds and so the ceiling exists only in our minds. someday maybe we can make it a reality...
