Thanks, I'll be looking forward to more! Ohhhhhhhhh, my traveling itch is getting much much much more bothersome thanks to this post. Why oh why is the holiday season so expensive? My mandatory x-mas week off where I cannot afford to go anywhere is painful.

Visit a place called "People 7" on Julu Lu if you can figure out how to get in :) Then try to find the bathroom. If you need more challenges, try to find "Shintori 2" which is no more then 100 feet away... I'll write a separate place on this. Around the same area boutiques and local designer outfits are open until midnight. You can stroll in and chat with them. On the markets never pay more then 1/3 of the asking price. If you go to the Hayatt Hotel restaurant with observation deck try Kobe Beef. On Wendsday they play psy-trance at dkd club, but it can be tricky to get in. Better hook up with some one "who knows" :). Tongren Lu is full of expat bars and discos, but the crowd is rather older then in South East Asia, and fells a lot like afterglow of frat parties - I would not waste time, but if you must Malone's is the largest American hangout with haburgers, pool and darts. No backpacker crowd here, but if you are still looking try bar Noah, it is the closest thing and has a view. Yuyuan garden is worth it, but try weekday ( ... )

Cпасибо. Not sure what we're looking for either, not yet anyway. I'm sure most questions will come up after we get there. Sounds like you're now an expert, if i didn't know any better I would've thought you lived there. ;-)
