... so I am visiting a couple of good friends at Google. Sampling the food, so to say. We are trying to select a least crowded table in their mecca-of-a-cafeteria. я бы таким позором не хвастался - не знать как выглядят google founders and ceo, men on the covers of every magazine in the country at some point in time except maybe for Cosmopolitan.

well, remeber it was a Google cafeteria, not really a place for "normal" people. You can safely assume Sergey and Larry cafe a demi-God like status in Google, so knowing how they look is essential part of the culture. "narod dolzhen znat' svoix geroyev". But overall it is a very unique situation in companies like Google and Yahoo, where you can easily encounter and talk to people that in any other situation would be willingly or unwillingly separated from you by various society and communication barriers
