I've already got the FL demo and it's loads of fun. I admit, it is also confusing as all hell but I've muddled my way through a bit of it so far. I do get the impression that picking up the extra add-on doohickeys will open up a lot more possibilities too.
Tweaking the pre-existing ones by randomly fiddling with the knobs on the side is fun, but far too time intensive for someone who doesn't know what they're doing to be working at on a regular basis.
When I think about the difference between being laid back and excitable, I tend to compare myself to a dog. Too lazy to care about the big things (Hey, my wallet got stolen with half of my rent money in it! Oh well. I'll manage.) but stupidly straightforward enough to get all worked up over simple stuff (THAT PERSON IS REFUSING TO MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH ME. WHY IS THIS OHMYGOD?).
Er, and by extra add-on doohickeys I mean extra presets. Those are the pre-existing things I was talking about in the second paragraph. I don't think that was entirely clear now that I am rereading it.
