The game is way pretty, although I do chafe a bit at not being able to tinker with the display settings.

Okay, so this game is chock-full of serious eye candy. Is it A) worth the purchase price and B) worth a monthly subscription?

This has been a popular topic amongst my friends list, but unfortuantely I don't think many of those conversations were made public. The general gist though, is that it depends on you.

The game is amazing, but it also has some serious flaws. Most of it has to do with polish and convenience. Whether or not you're willing to overlook these flaws probably depends on how much you value the high points.

I suppose I should start by asking, what is it exactly that you look for in an MMO?
