Ryokame drabble by Yannie
Calloused fingers brushed over his lips softly, as he looked up into a pair of dark-tinted glasses that obstructed the face. He moved to stand up, but the older man’s hand, gentle but forceful at the same time, made him sit back down on the low, brick wall. Through the dark shades, he could see those eyes though - those dark, intense eyes that had once made him shudder from their intensity, those eyes that he had always loved to look into.
“Ryo,” he intoned softly, disbelievingly; why was the older man here of all places? His heart clenched a little, remembering a time, only two years ago, when they had parted at this spot, and although they saw each other constantly, at work and out of it, out of mutual consent, they had buried their feelings in the bottom of their hearts, for their own sake, for their futures’ sake; he had always thought Ryo had moved on.
“I’ve been disowned and kicked out,” Ryo said just as softly, taking off his sunglasses so that he could look directly into Kame’s eyes without anything between their gazes. His thumb went to brush carelessly along Kame’s jaw, as though longing to touch his lips again, but not daring to.
Only Kame could have possibly understood the meaning behind Ryo’s words, and his actions just now.
“You…” Kame’s breath hitched just a little, in shock and in confusion. And a little in hope too, “You told your family?”
Ryo merely looked at him with those intense eyes that always told Kame what he needed to know, without actual words. The older man was leaning down, his hands resting on Kame’s shoulders, fingers curling tightly, holding Kame as though he never wanted to let go; his forehead was against Kame’s, as he said in a low voice, “I told you, all those years ago, it wasn’t goodbye.”
By now, Kame was reaching up, his hands moving up to let his fingers trail softly up Ryo’s jaw, to his lips, and up to the place where, two years ago, silent tears that had mirrored Kame’s own, had fallen from those dark eyes that he loved. That day, they had forced themselves to leave the other - for their ‘own good’, they had both said, but Kame had always wondered…
How was it for their own good when they were left broken-hearted and empty as a result?
Ryo’s arm went to slide around Kame’s waist, as he brought the younger man up to his feet, holding him close as he leaned in; Kame could feel the other’s breath on his lips, they were that close.
“With you and I,” Ryo said, slowly, softly, carefully, just before they kissed, “It’s never goodbye.”
And Kame closed his eyes in agreement to that.

Akame drabble by Ceres (inspired by Onegai! Teacher)
“Taguchi, turn on the invisible mode: this is a priority!” Kame commanded as imaginary cold sweat formed on his back. If it weren’t for the anti-perspiration, state-of-art, stylishly designed suit he was wearing -specially tailored for him by Tatsuya Ueda of MOUSE PEACE -, he might have been drenched from top to toe.
Taguchi’s --a tiny, floating computer-robot-- job description entailed to catering to Kame’s every command, manning (and cleaning) the ship, controlling the system, getting his puny butt kicked by Jin when the other was frustrated, preparing meals, and everything in between. It nodded its head upon Kame’s request and started to work.
“Oh my God, Kame, they’re gonna find out about us! About you being an alien! Your leader reminded me not to let people find out about it when he granted us the permission to date. Oh God, if I want to be with you, then your leader will force me to quit school, leave my friends and follow you back to your planet!”
“It’s either that, or Johnny-sama might just zap you to death.”
Jin blanched instantly, flapping his arms up and down like a lab rat trapped in a box without oxygen-if it had arms, that was.
“Relax, Jin, don’t panic!”
“I might be killed and you tell me not to panic? Are you out of your mind? This is the best time in my entire teenage life to panic!”
The low distant murmur was approaching fast, and now Kame and Jin could clearly make out what the voices were saying. There were two, no- three very familiar voices, and Jin felt his intestines twitch and turn, forming a complex knot at the pit of his stomach. Ryo, Yuu and Pi were his friends, his very good friends, and while he didn’t really mind them finding out that he was dating his teacher, he was not totally sure how his very good friends would react if they knew that he was dating an alien.
Maybe they would believe it if he said that Kame was a total sci-fi freak who had built his house like a space ship...
Kame cursed silently as the ship refused to be transparent. A virus had attacked the ship’s system a few hours ago and he had been too busy with his teaching job -his cover on earth- to actually fix it. And now, despite Taguchi trying its best to fulfil its master’s command, the door just stubbornly glued to the wall of the ship, being very visible. And Jin’s babbles, combined with his arm flapping, were not helping much -the three boys might locate them faster this way. After all, it was a proven fact, at least for him, that Jin can be very uhm… loud.
“Oh fuck, oh FUCK! They’ll find us! And this ship is not exactly invisible right now, and there is no way that they can’t spot it-IT’S OBVIOUS LIKE HELL!! It’s a space ship for God’s sake, how can it be not obvious-- Damn, I’m dead!! DEAD!! Kame, we won’t survive-“
Silence.
Jin was still panicking, his heart could practically jump out of his chest right now, but it was not exactly easy to babble off when a gorgeous alien was shoving his tongue down his throat. They rarely kissed, since Kame said it was taking too much of his precious time: he’d be better off researching the Earth instead. But now, at the moment of life and death, the moment before they were discovered, Kame’s tongue was caressing the insides of his cheeks gently, his hands were encircling his waist lovingly, and despite not being able calm down, he found that he was slowly enjoying it. This was kind of romantic, this idea of a last kiss before being found out and zapped dead by the leader of an alien community was not half-bad after all...
They could be remembered for eternity as the inter-galactic Romeo & Juliet.
“Invisible mode successfully turned on!” Taguchi cheerily announced.
And the kiss came to an abrupt end.
“Good job, Taguchi.”
“KAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Come on, kiss me again!!!”
