I don't think Mean Girls was realististic, not for my school or many others at least, but I still enjoyed it as a movie.

Haha, I always feel like such an old person when I rant about things like this. I mean, I bet kids love the movie because its funny and light-hearted (even I'll admit I laughed), but it always just makes me sad when I see how vain and self-absorbed people are becoming today, then I feel so helpless because it seems so irreversible. I'm just weird, I guess.

Eh, I agree about high school not being the way movies portray it to be.
I got in here expecting to resist the urge to hide under a rock, but I ended up loving it.

Movies /=/ reality.

Velvet Goldmine! GUH. paw_tracks was the one who told me to watch it, too. Christian Bale = YUM.

Finding Neverland was absolutely amazing. The end will make you cry though. Johnny is brillant again and his Scottish accent makes me all weak in the knees.

RENT was really great, too, but if you're not into musicals, I'm not sure it will be your cup of tea.
