I made some icons!

I'm only a beginner, so I want opinions - but be GENTLE with me! :O)

I started off with only 3 base pics, and have made 13 icons...

Again - be nice - I'm still learning! Yesterday Rob got me a Photoshop book (and I'm looking for PSP/AS too) so I can figure it out properly, but I've yet to read it! Heh!

They're better than a lot of beginner ones I've seen! If this is where you're starting out at, I'd love to see what you do after some practice! :D

Easy-peasy. Animation Shop Pro 3 - Insert Image Effect - Scratches. Done. It needed to be more complicated didn't it? How impressive am I? Or not... Heh! :O)

Hmm maybe I should check out Animation Shop Pro because I like that effect. :D

And it's so easy to use too! Only problem I have with it is that the optimization options aren't all that great. With something simple like that it's okay, but for a more complex animation it's hard to get it under 40kb. Grrr...

Still - sometimes the more simple it is the better it is, right? :O)

They're really good. Much better than anything I've made! I like #3 the best.

Oh, they're terrible! I was bored one time and decided to have a crack at it. Took a long time to create some not-so-brilliant HP icons. I don't even think I saved them anywhere ... will have to go see. Yours are much better!
