(no subject)
The saturday before last was my 2nd to last day of work. I found out that everyone was passing around coupons to receive 25% off the past 3 days. (Really only given to Premier members but some of them would allow you to use them w/o a Sears card) I had spent a good amount because I opened both a Sears Card and Mastercard, so I could get $25 dollars worth of stuff for free lol. Well my parents were out on a date with Ben's parents. (they hang out more than Ben and I! wtf?!) So I called Chris, who is amazing, he knows our garage code. He broke in, found all my receipts and brought them to me at work. I had an ajustment made and I got over $16 back. AMAZING. It was my last day to be down with the guys in hardware. So Dave, one of my favorite hardware guys ^_^ who I've always kind of had a slight crush on, so cute, asked me to go to Applebees after I got off work. We had a great time. We went to back to his house afterwards and watched the Grudge.
Sunday the craziest thing happened. My dad was leaving that evening for Buenos Aires, Argentina on a business trip. Friday I would be flying to Chicago. Well as a last minute thing we decided to go to Cosi together and see the Titanic exhibit. Which btw, is amazing. Well they give you little boarding passes with the name of a real person that was on the Titanic, where they are from, where they are going, and then at the end you find out if they survived. Well my dad got his first. Crazy enough it said his passenger was traveling to BUENOS AIRES. I got mine next. My passengers name was Ida Fischer (ironically the same name as my Great Grandmother who lived during the time of the Titanic) and she was traveling to CHICAGO. FREAKY~!! We were really scared when we found out my Dad's passenger died. Luckily he's made it home safely :) hehe We also had lunch at Schmidts in German Village (soooo good) So Sunday night my mom and I had the house to ourselves. Dave came over and we watched movies, and friends, and just hung out.
Monday I prepared for my trip all day then in the evening Chris and I went shopping. I got my free gift from the body shop for my birthday. I signed up for this Body Shop card.. cost me $6. I save 10% everytime. I get a $10 birthday gift (which automatically makes it worth it) and then every 4th purchase I get a free gift of $15 then $25 and after that a free membership renewel. I got that in June and I will be getting my free $15 gift next time. They have the MOST amazing orange shower gel. It's to die for. It was exactly $10 so I had to pay nothing. Not even tax. I love them. So yeah after that we went to Victoria Secret where I had a coupon for free mesh panties, free perfume sample, and $10 birthday gift card. (I'm crafty) So I got my panties (worth $12), a little bottle of Halo perfume (worth $12.50) (which I never use much of, the size is actually perfect for me) and I bought two pairs of very sexy underwear which were $20 and $18. Took my 10 dollars off. I got $62 worth of stuff there for just $29. ^_^ I went to claires and bought some hoops I needed to look good for Aaron, buy 2 get one free. And then bought a bra at Target that matched my victoria secret thong PERFECTLY, looked EXACTLY like the $38 one they sell there for just $10. Oh and some tylenol. I love shopping. I love discounts!!
Tuesday I had class. Afterwards I went over to Dave's to watch Real World with him and his sister in Law. It was so much fun. I love her. She hates Angelina Jolie because she claims she's a homewrecker. Which she hates. And I can't help but agree. I LOVE Jennifer Aniston given that I'm a Friends FANATIC. Honestly I mean I can see a fling with Angelina, but Jennifer, she's someone you could look at for the rest of your life. You'd just get sick of Angelina. STUPID STUPID BRAD. Hell I'd marry Jennifer if I could. Or Courtney Cox Arquette. They're both beautiful.
Wednesday I had to get blood drawn at the hospital. It wasn't bad til I walked outside. SO fucking hot. I almost passed out. My mom and I went to Brunos for lunch and then I had to work 5-9. Last day. Oh it was so much fun! Stevie (one of the new cashiers who I helped train) came to visit me and say goodbye! Dave even stopped by and said hi to me too :) Then Chris came also. Ahhh so great. :) Wednesday evening my mom died my hair, while Chris was poking me and my mom burned my head. Not fun. Oh well. It turned out pretty nice. It's suppose to be light ash brown. It's more brown than light. Idk.
Thursday I had my last statistics class. Found out I have 100.5% in the class. Which is why I'm not really studying right now.. I just need a C on my final at 5:30 tonight for it to transfer credit to Xavier. I'm sooo lazy now. I'll look over my notes at like 2..3... probably 4. haha! I then spent the evening having food at Applebees with Dave, Mike (another hardware guy) and Katy (cashier). Tehn Dave and i went back to my house and relaxed for a bit. Didn't really do much because I had to wake up at 7 to get ready to leave for the airport. But yeah wow, 4 nights with Dave last week, it was nice :) He's adorable.
So I woke up at 7. Tried to make myself look at gorgeous as possible haha and then my mom dropped me off at the airport. I had like an hour to wait before my first plane left for Cincinnati. Everything went by really smoothly. I took a shuttle to the other terminal at Cinci and then it was time to board my next plane to Chicago. Aaron was right there at baggage claim looking for me when I got there. :) hehe so we got to the car.. and eventually made it back to St. Charles, his suburb. He treated me to lunch at a place called the Village Squire. Which was very nice. Then we went to his house and I met his brother, and mom and sisters. We watched videos of his band performing. Old ones which weren't so good.. new ones which I thought were amazing. Then we watched the Incredibles. Looked at lots of baby pictures, old pictures of Aaron ^_^ We had the most delicious pizza for dinner: Giodanos. It's stuffed pizza with the sauce on top. You just need one piece to fill you up. It was so good. I wish we had it here. After dinner his dad let Aaron borrow his car to go to the mall. It's a Mazda G35 Coupe. It's pretty. We walked all around, and then had smoothies. When we got back to his house we changed into our bathing suites and went into his Hot Tub. Listened to one of my burnt CDS (it has surround sound) and just relaxed. Yeah I think we ended up in bed at around 3.
Saturday Aaron's mom cooked us breakfast and I wore my "Don't Blame Me I Voted For Kerry Shirt". Which his parents liked. They're liberals. HELL YEAH. We got our showers then headed to our hotel. The hotel was very very nice. We had a HUGE King size bed. Which was insanely Comfortable. Extra Extra pillows. Like 8? Extra towels. They actually made attention to my online requests. The subway was just behind the hotel. We got all dressed up and took it to the theatre district. We went to Macy's. Had dinner at the Walnut room and then sat around outside before the Lion King started. It was just as good as the first time I saw it. Still got tons of goosebumps. I just love the music. Gets me everytime. The costumes are outstanding. Love It. Afterwards we took the subway back to our hotel and just crashed.
The thing that really amazes me is that I feel like I've known Aaron forever. Like what, it has been 6 years almost. But sometimes we will have moments where we don't talk for months, but yet I'm so comfortable with him. When I talk to him I feel like he's always been there. We have alot in common and have many of the same opinions so it idk, everything just clicks.
Sunday I woke up from a dream that Aaron and I had left in a fight. And I was so sad because I didn't know when I'd see him again. Then I woke up and he was right there, and smiled at me. hehe :) Sunday we had breakfast, then headed downtown. First thing we did was go straight to the Sears tower. I've always wanted to, never been. It was such a gorgeous view. I can now say I've been to the tallest point in the USA! I took pictures. I will post more later, right now I just had one of Aaron and I because it's from my phone. My dad needs to upload the ones I took on his camera. (programs on his computer) after the Sears tower we were walking down the street and out of no where I saw THE ORIGINAL JIMMY JOHNS! So I just ran in, ordered my number one. PEPE. I had to. So good. Yeah yeah I've been to the original!!! Then Aaron and I walked down to Millenium Park, watched Kids play in the fountains. Sat in the grass. Haha the most amusing thing happened. A band of just 5 instrumentalists marched by. One by one. With their leader. And they were dressed at INSECTS. They had antennas and wings, and played the funniest tune. They kept marching around and saying Join our Band! So I was thinking wow.. atleast South wasn't that sad. Only 5 people lol. And I knew if I was that big of a bando Id be joining them. I decided it wasn't for me. Insects? That's a little weird... *sigh* so eventually we had to head back to the subway, back to the hotel, so Aaron could drop me off at the airport. I had SUCH a good time. Aaron is my Lobster. (you'd have to know friends to understand) He's wonderful.
Well at the airport the only problem I had was that my plane to Cinci took off an hour later. It just never showed up. I made lots of friends at that airport. We were all planning a big party if we missed our planes out of Cinci. Because I had 53 mins inbetween and they had less. My mom told me to call friends to make sure I had a place to stay. My phone wouldn't connect through to Michelle's. It was crap. So I called Sean. He told me I could stay there if I was stuck. So Atleast I had somewhere to go. Well we arrived in Cinci at 11:01. My flight was scheduled to leave at 11:10. I had to run all the way across the terminal. I was booking it. I ran up the ladder to the plane and they literally shut the door right after me. I was like... "PLane... uhhh to.. uhhh Columbus??" and this guy's like yeah, Columbus, Georgia. Could have kicked his ass. Oh well. Made it home safely. Met my mom in baggage. Was dead tired. I slept in til 1 the next day. Then hung out with Chris that evening. Went to sleep. Here I am. I should study for Statistics now.. meh! Tonight I'm hanging out with Dave again. :) Tomorrow Ben and I are spending the day at Cedar Point. Thursday we are celebrating my birthday. Then Friday I have surgury. And that's pretty much it til back to school. WOO HOO!!
