Fic from you! How lovely! And Boyd fic, at that. This is a nice character piece, set against an easily identifiable background. I have been to that fair, and that odor is easily recalled. I like this a lot.

Thanks, hon! Boyd is my favorite character ever to write dialog for, because he's charming and loquacious and he's got the vocabulary and uses it, and if his audience can't keep up, too bad. (Usually when I'm writing Boyd, I just let the Walton Goggins in my head talk, and try to keep up.)
